Melissa Grisancich

Melissa Grisancich is a painter who works straight onto the canvas, without a sketchbook, and chooses her colours intuitively as she paints. Her work draws on people, places and nostalgia, from Looney Tunes and Peanuts comics to The Wizard of Oz. She works on one painting at a time until it matches what she sees in her head.
